Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Merzouga Desert
Your journey starts early in the morning from Marrakech. We travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass with amazing panoramic views.
Along the way, we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites and a popular filming location for movies and TV series.
After lunch near Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, we continue through the Valley of Roses, Berber villages and desert landscapes toward Merzouga.
Upon arrival in Merzouga:

- Camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes
- Sunset photos in the Sahara
- Traditional Moroccan dinner
- Berber music around the fire

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, enjoy a complete day discovering the Sahara Desert and the surroundings of Merzouga.
Today’s activities may include:
- 4x4 desert excursion
- Visit nomad families
- Explore the black desert
- Visit Khamlia village and enjoy Gnawa music
- Discover desert oases
- Sandboarding in the dunes
- Free time to relax in the camp or enjoy the dunes
In the evening:
- Sunset in the dunes
- Traditional dinner

- Stargazing in the Sahara
🛏️ Second overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast.
After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga village and start the journey back to Marrakech.
Along the way:
- Visit Rissani traditional market (depending on market days)
- Pass through Alnif and the beautiful Draa Valley
- Panoramic stops in the Atlas Mountains
Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
