Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel, riad, or Marrakech Airport in the morning. Begin your journey by crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire the mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages, and winding roads. Continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s best-preserved fortified villages. Enjoy free time to explore its narrow alleys, traditional earthen architecture, and panoramic viewpoints. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert.” Depending on the available time, you may visit: Taourirt Kasbah Atlas Film Studios Cinema Museum Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Roses Valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorge
After breakfast, travel along the famous Road of One Thousand Kasbahs. Stop at Skoura Oasis, known for its palm groves, historic kasbahs, and traditional villages. Continue through the beautiful Roses Valley, famous for its rose gardens and locally produced rosewater and cosmetic products. Travel through the Dades Valley and stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the impressive rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers. Continue to Tinghir and admire the palm-filled oasis before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorge. Enjoy free time to walk between the high canyon walls and beside the river. Dinner and overnight near Todra Gorge.
Day 3: Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart Todra and travel through traditional Berber villages towards the Sahara Desert. Pass through Tinjdad and Touroug before reaching Erfoud, known for fossils, dates, and marble workshops. Continue to Rissani, a historic desert town and former trading center for ancient caravan routes. When the traditional market is open, enjoy time to discover its colorful sections selling dates, spices, crafts, clothing, and local products. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and check into your desert hotel. Enjoy free time to relax, admire the Erg Chebbi dunes, or choose an optional quad or buggy excursion. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Tour – Camel Trek – Merzouga Luxury Camp
After breakfast, begin a private 4×4 tour around the Merzouga desert. The excursion may include: Visit to a nomadic Berber family Panoramic viewpoints over the Erg Chebbi dunes M’Fis abandoned mining village Seasonal desert lake, when water is available Khamlia village Traditional Gnawa music performance Fossil areas and desert landscapes Local Berber villages Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or with a Berber family, depending on the selected program. In the afternoon, return to Merzouga and prepare for your camel trek. Ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes and stop on the sand to admire the Sahara sunset. Day 5: Merzouga – Return to Marrakech or Continue to Fes
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return from the camp by camel or private 4×4. Your final route will depend on your chosen destination. Option 1: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Marrakech Travel through Alnif, Tazarine, Nkob, Agdez, and the beautiful Draa Valley. Continue through Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech in the evening. Option 2: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes Travel north through the Ziz Valley and stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking its palm groves. Continue through Midelt, the Cedar Forest, and Ifrane before arriving in Fes. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel, riad, or airport. End of our services.
