Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Fes
Upon arrival at Fes Airport, your private driver will welcome you and transfer you to your traditional riad in the Medina. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at your accommodation or enjoy your first walk through the streets of Fes. Overnight in Fes.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Fes
After breakfast, meet your official local guide and begin a fascinating tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and cultural capital. Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, depart Fes and travel south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its Alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you may see the native Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, drive through the spectacular mountain landscapes and the Ziz Gorge. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the palm-filled Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Meet your camel guide and begin your camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop on the dunes to admire the Sahara sunset before continuing to Merzouga Luxury Camp. Day 4: Merzouga Desert Tour and Second Night in Merzouga
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before enjoying breakfast at the camp. Today, discover the landscapes, culture, and traditions surrounding Merzouga in a private 4×4 vehicle. The desert tour may include: Visit to a nomadic Berber family M’Fis abandoned mining village Panoramic viewpoints over the Erg Chebbi dunes Seasonal desert lake, when water is available Khamlia village Traditional Gnawa music performance Local Berber villages Fossil areas and desert landscapes Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or with a Berber family, depending on the chosen program. In the afternoon, return to Merzouga and relax at your hotel or desert accommodation. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and visit Rissani, an important historic town and former commercial center for the desert caravans. When the market is open, you can explore its traditional sections selling spices, dates, crafts, clothing, and local products. Continue through Erfoud, famous for its fossils, before traveling towards Tinghir. Admire the beautiful palm groves of the Tinghir Oasis and continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge. Enjoy free time to walk between its impressive rock walls. Later, travel through Berber villages and dramatic mountain scenery towards the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel along the famous Road of One Thousand Kasbahs. Pass through the Roses Valley, known for its rose gardens and traditional cosmetic products, before continuing to the palm groves of Skoura. Visit Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert” and famous for its film studios. Continue to the impressive Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Enjoy time to explore the ancient alleys and admire the panoramic view from the upper part of the village. In the afternoon, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping at panoramic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7: Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, meet your official local guide and begin a guided tour of Marrakech, known as the Red City. Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
After breakfast, depart Marrakech and travel towards Casablanca. Visit the exterior of the impressive Hassan II Mosque, located beside the Atlantic Ocean. An optional interior visit can be arranged depending on the opening schedule. You may also visit: Casablanca Corniche Mohammed V Square Central neighborhoods of Casablanca Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Depending on the arrival time, begin exploring some of Rabat’s main attractions. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 9: Rabat – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, continue your visit of Rabat. Highlights may include: Hassan Tower Mausoleum of Mohammed V Kasbah of the Udayas Rabat Medina Depart Rabat and travel towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities.
