Itinerary
Your private driver will collect you from your hotel or riad in Fes in the morning.
Travel south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its Alpine-style architecture and clean mountain atmosphere.
Continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you may see the native Barbary macaques living among the ancient cedar trees.
After lunch in Midelt, travel through mountain landscapes, the Ziz Gorge, and several traditional Berber towns.
Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the palm-filled Ziz Valley before continuing through Erfoud and Rissani.
Arrive in Merzouga during the late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes.
After breakfast, begin a private 4×4 excursion around the Merzouga Desert.
